Is it possible for me to get a personal loan for $1,000 with a low credit score?

My credit score is between 520-530 and I don't own a home... is there any where I can get a personal loan? I already have one of those payday advances, so that's not an option. Am I screwed or what?

5. www.cashcall.com doesn't look at your credit. they loan up to $2K, i think.
