Personal loan - income vs credit score?

My husband's credit score is 660, and he makes $1400 a month. My credit score is 590, and I make $1000 a month. We want to get a personal loan to pay down some debt, but aren't sure whether to apply in his name only, or if we should apply jointly. I know my income would help us qualify, but I'm afraid my credit score will mess us up. Any suggestions on which is the best way to apply?

  1. You might want to ask the lender what the best way to do it would be. Each lender may have different ways of qualifying so they will know the best.
  2. Have him apply and list "household income" as $2400/month. That way, your income rides on his application, and you are completely honest.
  3. I am no gonna say I am one hundred sure about it.Besides it really depends on the personal feelings.SO it would better for you to find yourself. Here is a good resource.http://loan.goodhelper.info/unsecured-debt-consolidation-loan.html
