How come business credit cards do not affect your personal credit score?
Public Comments
- Because the CC is in the business name, a business is not a person
- Actually they do if you are the one to guarantee the funds. Someone has to be the guarantor.
- Business credit cards do not report to credit bureaus. Therefore, even if the business credit card is in your name, the account is not reported to your credit file.
- Because you are not personally responsible for making the payment. You are merely an authorized user. The credit is on obligation of the business.
