How come business credit cards do not affect your personal credit score?

Public Comments

  1. Because the CC is in the business name, a business is not a person
  2. Actually they do if you are the one to guarantee the funds. Someone has to be the guarantor.
  3. Business credit cards do not report to credit bureaus. Therefore, even if the business credit card is in your name, the account is not reported to your credit file.
  4. Because you are not personally responsible for making the payment. You are merely an authorized user. The credit is on obligation of the business.
