- i dont think so it is quick to get credit up by buying things on them pay monthly things though
- More and more insurance companies are using your credit score to determine what your premiums will be. Paying any outstanding credit bills will always be good for your credit score.
- No. That is not "credit."
- Although many companies use parts of your credit file to determine rates, the insurance companies don't report anything to the credit bureaus, therefore, it doesn't effect your credit either way. Only things that are actually credit will go on your credit report, i.e. credit cards, car loans, etc. Things like insurance, rent, cell phones, don't go on your credit report b/c you didn't borrow money from anyone. However, if you don't pay your bill they can sell it to a collection agency, then it will show and hurt your score.
- no I've had good results here... http://www.knowledged.info/go.php?link=insurance Good Luck.
- No but some carriers send your name to collections if you leave an outstanding bill. And this affects your credit score. But paying insurance on time doesn't relate to your credit score.
