Does paying accounts in collection help your credit score?
I 've heard that it actually lowers your credit score because it show's more recent? Is this true and if so would it be better just to wait for the sever years for it to come off? Collection accounts are about 3-4 years old thanks!

- Its best to pay off ..it at least shows that although you made mistakes ..your taking care of it and paying off these items do raise your credit score.
