- get someone to co-sign with u.
- The way to get around this is not to rent from corporations. Rent from an individual owner. They never do credit checks! Look in the paper and call them all. Good luck.
- you can try asking on http://www.rentalandrealestate.com RK
- If your credit is that bad, nothing you say will change the landlord's mind. You may have better luck with renting from a private, small time landlord who does not run credit checks. However, in this day and age, even small time landlords run credit checks - they are easily available on-line for a reasonable cost.
- Your best bet is to stay away from corporations-big & moderate apartment complex's. This is what you do...prepare to have extra move in money because most landlords will charge you more to move in once they learn you have bad credit. Get a copy of your own credit report so you know what the landlord is looking at. Start paying on some bills to show you are attempting to get yourself together. Be honost with them, and let them know your situation. You need a private landlord. They are more flexible and you can reason with them-you can't reason with a big corporation. Tell them ahead of time that your credit is bad. LL's like honosty Drive around the neighborhood, call numbers in the newspaper or go to http://craigslist.com There you can find apartments in your area (if your area has a thriving Craigs list). Many private landlords advertise apartments on there. Some advertise bad credit is ok if you pay extra $$ to move in-Some will not do a credit check at all if you have extra $$. It is all about the money, but big corporations look at your credit and $$. Stay away from them, they have a quota and they are not flexible. They deny people for minor credit mishaps, heaven help you if your credit is bad. You will probably get denied alot, but someone will take a liking to you and give you a chance. Good Luck!
- Look in the newspaper. If you pay your current landlord on time, use them as a reference on application. The key for you will be working on your credit.
- Go rent a room off of craigslist. They typically do not check credit. http://www.craigslist.com Click on the Room/Share heading. Good luck Terry S. http://www.Welcome2Arizona.com
