- yes
- American Express you must pay the full amount of what you charged when the bill comes; Yes it can help.
- Getting approved for any type of credit can improve your credit score but failing to pay it back can damage even more! Beware.
- I was told at a credit seminar that it is best to have "real" credit cards like Visa, Mastercard, etc. then the store credit cards. Only 2-3 "real" credit cards and a limited number of store credit cards is a guideline they told us to go by. Also, keeping well below your limit and to balance the credit cards so that happens meaning don't have all your debt on one credit card. I myself don't carry credit card debt BUT use my credit cards on a daily basis, at least every other month to keep them active. Also paying your bills in time help!! Check out the yahoo personal finance section, they have some great articles on this subject!!
- getting any type of credit card & using it & paying your bills on time can improve credit. not just Amex.
- Definitely but make sure you make payments on time. Be careful too of getting too many credit cards though, even if you pay on time, because that can affect your ability to secure loans and get future credit because you can have too many open lines of credit.
- You should be careful getting a credit card can help boost your credit score. But constantly filling out credit applications can actually hurt your credit score. So if you already have five or more credit card I would not suggest getting another one it will do more damage than good to your credit ratio.
- If you do not have a card already, then jst getting one will not help. What will add to your credit rating is having the card for a while, making purchases, and MOST IMPORTANTLY paying the bills on time, as well as your other bills like utilities etc.
- It is possible, but I can not really believe he /she credit score was only 580 and was approved for a American Express Card. In my experience your FICO credit score needs to be in the upper 600's if not lower 700's to get approved. Anything is possible though..........
- amex will never give someone with a 580 or a 620 for that matter a credit card. Start with orchard bankthey will take anyone
- American Express, or AMEX, is one of the most recognisable names in the financial world. What many customers who have MasterCard or Visa credit cards in their wallet are interested in, is what is the difference between these two companies and American Express. Well the difference is quite simple. MasterCard and Visa are both simply payment methods. They allow locations to accept payment using their system. They do not however, issue any credit cards of their own. For this they rely on their partnerships with thousands of banks worldwide who will issue credit cards, provide the credit necessary, and charge clients interest and give them rewards. None of your credit card bill goes to Visa or MasterCard. It all goes to the bank that provided the card. This bank also sets your interest rate, gives you rewards, offers you zero per cent balance transfers, the works. Visa and MasterCard make their money by charging the retailer a fee for using their payment system, and also sometimes by charging your bank for issuing the card. None of this effects you directly however. Apply online for a best credit card at: http://www.credit-card-gallery.com/American_Express.html
- Apart from no annual fee feature of the American Blue Express it also gives cash returns on specific purchases. Users of the American Blue Express also enjoy protection against fraud for online credit card transactions. This card tries to right the various wrong notions about the American Express credit cards, one of which is that it is a credit card only for rich or those who have money to keep a credit card. Getting this card will also give you access to various other cards from American Express. American Express targets people of different styles and tastes. There is an appropriate American Express card for everybody in the family. The company also wants to target a niche market for credit cards, especially women and the youth. With this aim in mind, the American Blue Express was created.
