Can you get a student loan with bad credit?

I have horrible credit, and i know it's pretty much impossible for me to get anything, but do they have student loans for people with bad credit?

1. Are you in the UK? If you are i the UK, it makes no difference at all, its nothing to do with your dredit scoring, thankfully!
2. Student Loans aren't necessarily based on credit since its the state that actually gives you the loan. Which is a banks guarantee that it will be paid. The government foots the bill
