How much will one late payment affect my credit score?

There was a little mix up with the electric company and my payments and as a result i made one late payment and i paid in full when i realized the error. i am worried that my credit score will be screwed up now...i have one credit card and have never made a late payment on that. Will this one late payment affect my credit score?

1. If it does it will be very little, the utilities companies down here do not report on our credit report, unless failure to pay at all, I do not know about where you are located.
2. How late were you? If it was less than 30 days, it should not be a major problem.
3. Paying late to an electric compnay will not effect your credit....because it is not "credit"/borrowed money
