What does your credit score need to be for cell phone service?
We want to go with At&T I'm wondering what type of credit score are they looking at? I if you don't need a credit score then why do some people not qualify with bad credit?

- You don't need a credit score.
- If you have little or no credit it's no problem. The only reason a person would be denied for a cell service it would be because they have a history of non-payment, especially if they are currently running past due on their bills.
- They just want to verify that you will pay your bills. Your credit score will show your past payment history which is an indicator to them whether you will be a good, paying customer. If you have some credit built up, check your credit report and try to get it as close to or above 700 as possible.
