What is the best way to get finanacing with a low credit score?
late payments has lowered my score due to things out of my control. now I would like to rebuild credit and I also need to make a purchase that will require financing. I do not live above my means, very conservative lifestyle, no cell, cable or creditcard debt. Utilities and housing is my only expenses. what advice to help me get back on my feet? single parent, single income.

- Start making your payments on time and the bad will age and not affect your score so much. You do not need to make a purchase before straightening things out or even IF you could get a loan it will come with high double digit interest rates. If the loan is for a car, make it a well used one and keep working on the credit. Our lives are always within our control from the moment we decide to charge on a CC and NOT pay it off at the end of the month to making a late payment. Yes even if that means you go over to Burger King and sack burgers for a few months.

- with the market right now forget it but use it you advantage == put aside the payment that you was going to pay on the loan and in a few months when thing settle down you will have say 15% of the loan value of item and using it as securtiy you should be able to get a loan at your local bank!!!
